Welcome to Book Event ("we," "us," "our," or "Company"), a product of Innfive Pty Ltd. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile application, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using Book Event, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you may not use our Service.

1. Use License

Book Event grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for the purpose of booking tickets to events. You agree not to:

• Reproduce, duplicate, copy, or sell any portion of the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Use automated tools or bots to access the Service without permission

2. Ticket Booking and Purchase

Availability: Tickets are subject to availability. Book Event does not guarantee that any particular event or ticket will be available for purchase.

Pricing: All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include applicable taxes and fees unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Payment: Payment must be made in full at the time of booking. We accept various payment methods including credit cards and online payment gateways. By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use that payment method.

Booking Confirmation: A booking is only confirmed once payment is successfully processed. You will receive a confirmation email with your booking reference and ticket details.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation terms are determined by the event organizer. Some events may offer refunds, while others may not. Please review the specific event's cancellation policy before purchasing.

Refund Processing: If eligible for a refund, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. Book Event is not responsible for delays caused by your financial institution.

Non-Refundable Fees: Service fees and transaction fees are generally non-refundable unless the entire booking is cancelled and a refund is issued by the event organizer.

4. User Accounts

If you create an account with Book Event, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

You are solely responsible for any unauthorized use of your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Book Event Service, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Book Event or its content suppliers and is protected by South African and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit any content without our prior written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Book Event shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or information
• Loss of profits or revenue
• Missed events or cancelled bookings
• Third-party actions or event organizer decisions

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. Book Event makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Event Organizer Responsibility

Book Event acts as a ticketing platform and is not responsible for:

• Event cancellations or postponements
• Changes to event dates, times, or venues
• Quality or content of events
• Actions or omissions of event organizers
• Disputes between attendees and event organizers

9. Privacy

Your use of Book Event is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your personal information.

10. Payment Processing and Security

Book Event uses industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your payment information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We are not responsible for unauthorized access to your payment information if such access results from your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your credentials.

All payment processing is handled by our secure payment gateway partners. By making a payment through Book Event, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the ticket price and applicable fees.

11. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited conduct:

• Harassment, abuse, or threats toward other users or staff
• Posting false, defamatory, or misleading information
• Attempting to resell tickets in violation of event terms
• Using the Service for fraud or illegal activities
• Violating any applicable laws or regulations

12. Termination

Book Event reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at any time, without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or engaged in prohibited conduct. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa for the resolution of any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service.
